On 10/04/2013 Jan & I traveled to New York City by train to attend the promotion ceremony of Major Fred Tanner to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. The ceremony was help on the grounds of the 9/11 Memorial site. This was our first visit to the site. It was a most inspiring event and one that I am quite proud of being present for. The gallery below contains some 60 pictures that I took before, during and after the proceedings.
