A set of galleries showing a variety of pictures from our vacation.
The Albuquerque Arboretum “River of Lights”

A trip up to Abique

In that last picture – we came across this tree sitting in the middle of the road blocking the lane. I pulled around it and stopped. With a bit of effort, it is a tree too large for a house, I dragged it off the road. The car behind stopped to make sure we were OK.
Ghost Ranch and the Red Rock country…one of our most favorite spots.

That last is my Sweetie.
A visit, over a rough and very narrow road to the Monastery of Christ in the Desert.

The bird on the post is a Golden Eagle. The monastery is Benedictine, the same as St. Leo where I went to High School.
The plaza in Santa Fe

Tough place to take pictures!
Back to Albuquerque for Christmas Eve and our dinner at Seasons (best restaurant in town and a store to tell about how we found it)

At night the place is a spectacular show complete with tricked out cars.
Bosque del Apache, where we spend the day Christmas to view thousands of migrating birds

One of the better sunsets we have seen.
Jimes Springs….where we were married 12/24/1997.
